Sample information

Conclusion: On the other hand, we observed that sIL-2R was the most sensitive antigen for endometrial cancer; therefore it could represent a new tumor marker for the management of patients with this malignancy.

Sample type : serum

Expression pattern : raised serum concentrations (> or = 50 U/mL)

Funtion Uniprot: Receptor for interleukin-2. The receptor is involved in the regulation of immune tolerance by controlling regulatory T cells (TREGs) activity. TREGs suppress the activation and expansion of autoreactive T-cells.
