Sample information
Conclusion: AgNORs as an early marker of sensitivity to radiotherapy in gynecologic cancer
Sample type : tissue
Sample method: silver stained
Expression pattern : PI ≥ 150
Expression elevation: AgNORs were counted in 100 nuclei of silverstained cell smears under a light microscope at a magnification of 400 ×. AgNORs were counted in keeping with the methods of Crocker et al and Aubele et al. Fifty normal cervical smear samples were evaluated the same way.(PI = preradiotherapy AgNOR counts ×% reduction in AgNOR counts after the first fraction.)
