Sample information

Conclusion: SPAG9 may be associated with the efficacy of progestin treatment in CAEH and grade 1 EA. It may help to distinguish CAEH from grade 1 EA and serve as a new prognostic marker of CAEH or grade 1 EA treated with progestin.

Sample type : tissue

Sample method: immunohistochemistry

Expression pattern : high expression

Expression elevation: Evaluation of immunohistochemistry was scored by extent (the positive frequency of endometrial gland) and its intensity. The staining intensity was estimated on a four-step scale (0 = no staining; 1 = weak staining; 2 = moderate staining; 3 = strong staining). The fraction of stained gland was scored based on the following criteria: score 0 (0–10% positive endometrial gland), score 1 (11–50% positive endometrial gland), score 2 (51–80% positive endometrial gland), score 3 (>80% positive endometrial gland). The final score were the product of the above two scores.

Regulates lysosomal positioning by acting as an adapter protein which links PIP4P1-positive lysosomes to the dynein-dynactin complex (PubMed:29146937).
