Funtion description: SMOC-2 is a cancer stem cell-associated matricellular protein in endometrial cancer and promoted cell proliferation, enhanced resistance toward chemotherapy both in vitro and in vivo. This effect was associated with the activation of WNT/β-catenin signaling.
