age <75 yr, clinical tumor stage ≤T3, prostate-specific antigen (PSA) concentration at diagnosis <20 ng/ml, and no signs of distant metastasis

Inclusion criteria

(1)no or withdraw informed consent,not understanding Swedish,or no operation performed (2)not meeting inclusion criteria (3)could not be reached or were uble to answer the questions at telephone interview
