Patients were chosen by convenience and were included if they were scheduled for elective radical prostatectomy for prostate cancer and were fluent in German in order to understand the informed consent form.
Inclusion criteria
Patients in whom invasive blood pressure monitoring in the radial arteries was not feasible, for example because of severe atherosclerosis, were excluded from the study.
