patients who underwent SP-RPP in a single institution were prospectively entered into an institutiol review board–approved database. Patients counseled for SP-RPPhadrelative contraindicationfor a retropubic approach or radiotherapy, including previous abdomil surgery or morbid obesity.patients with localized PCa treated from September 2017 to September 2018 with MP-RARP by the same surgeon, before the beginning of the SP experience, were used as comparators.

Inclusion criteria

Patients with a prostate volume of >80 cc were excluded from the SP-RPP approach. All surgeries were performed by one fellowship-trained experi_x005fenced surgeon (>20yr of experience, >2000 MP-RARPs).
