All patients amongst both groups received preoperative pain management in the form of 1 g of Acetaminophen and a Transverse Abdominis Plane (TAP) block by the Anesthe_x005f_x005f_x005f_x005f_x0002_sia Team prior to surgery. No opioids were administered preoperatively. Intraoperative pain control was managed at the discretion of the Anesthesiologist.
